What We Offer!
$28/hr to start
Upon completion of your probation, this rate is increased to $28.84/hr

Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and professional Class 1 driver to join our transportation team in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from customer sites and other AIM facilities.
What you're responsible for:
Operating a 12-wheel, class 1 commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
Performing manual tarping if necessary
Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation
Follow safety and driving regulations at all times
Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
To join our team:
You have a valid class 1 FM driver's license with a clean Driving Record
You have experience operating a manual transmission (required)
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a class 1 truck driver
You are customer service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
You have good physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required.
You are familiar with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
You have experience with roll-off trucks (an asset)
You are physically fit and safety-oriented
You are reliable, punctual, and respectful of equipment
