Flynn Canada Ltd is hiring a Project Coordinator! This position will be based out of our Halifax location, reporting to the Architectural Operations Manager.
A Day in the Life:
Complete take-offs/estimates for assigned projects
Follow up on single scope projects
Complete work orders & prepare material order sheets
Preparing and following-up on quotations and tenders
Mark up drawings on Bluebeam as part of takeoff process
Communicate frequently with Estimating team to obtain and share knowledge and information

What You Bring:
Educational background in an Architectural Technology or Construction Project Management program
Good communication (verbal & written)
Computer aptitude (Outlook, Bluebeam, excel, word, etc.)
Basic estimating/mathematical skills
Ability to read blueprints, plans and specifications
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
Excellent time management and problem solving skills
A career-minded individual with a focus on continuous growth and development
