What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
Wash/Clean pump and power equipment (generators, dewatering and sewage pumps, etc.) when it’s returned.
Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard and wash bay area.
Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment.
Operate heavy-duty forklift.
Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.
Assist with inventory management.
Deliver small equipment and tools if needed.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid Class G driver’s license is an asset, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
Forklift license or experience operating forklifts is an asset.
Must be comfortable with working outdoors year-round.
Mechanical aptitude and/or previous experience operating equipment is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.
Comfortable with computers/technology (for filling out inspections, inventory management, etc.)
Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices is an asset.
Forklift license or experience operating forklifts is an asset.
