We are seeking a Warranty & Seasonal Coordinator for Akash Homes, based in Edmonton.
The Opportunity
As a Warranty Coordinator at Akash Homes, you will act as the central point of contact for all warranty and seasonal service inquiries. You’ll work closely with homeowners, trades, and internal departments to ensure efficient scheduling, communication, and documentation of service work. Your role is essential in maintaining trust and satisfaction with our customers long after they’ve moved in.
Top 3 Priorities in the First 6 Months
Become proficient in managing homeowner inquiries and coordinating service appointments using Microsoft Outlook and internal systems.
Learn and maintain accurate records in Quality Builder, ensuring all warranty actions are properly tracked and documented.
Effectively triage homeowner concerns to determine appropriate responses and escalate recurring issues for resolution.
What You’ll Work On
Managing all customer communications related to warranty and seasonal concerns, ensuring timely, professional, and solutions-oriented responses.
Coordinating and scheduling 3- and 11-month inspections, trade service appointments, and internal field support using Microsoft Outlook and internal systems.
Review and update seasonal tracking items
Customer response to be acknowledge within 24-hour rule
Creating and issuing work orders, communicating with trade partners, and following up to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
Maintaining up-to-date records, ensuring all warranty actions are properly tracked and documented.
Supporting warranty technicians with calendar management and logistical planning.
Triaging homeowner concerns to determine the appropriate response, trade, or internal action.
Collaborating with internal departments such as estimating to advise on chargebacks or warranty cost implications.
Providing homeowners with relevant documentation and managing the electronic filing of all related service items.
What You’ll Bring
General knowledge of construction is mandatory.
Ideally 1 year of administrative (office or field) preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Alberta New Home Warranty policies and relevant building/safety codes is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you thrive on building trust with both homeowners and trade partners.
Exceptional organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and calm under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM and an aptitude for learning new systems.
