Overview
Paladin Security is seeking motivated and professional Security Officers to join our team at our Trans Alta site in Wabamun, AB. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the physical capability to conduct extensive patrols. Successful applicants will demonstrate sound decision-making, professionalism under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for staff, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients and patrons.
Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and identify policy breaches.
Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
De-escalate crisis situations and liaise with police, fire, and paramedic personnel.
Exercise effective crowd control and remove trespassers when required.
Prepare clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity logs.
Operate two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activity.
Manage Lost & Found items and inquiries.
Holding or able to obtain a valid Alberta Security License.
Class 5 Unrestricted Driver’s License.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service ability.
Strong observational skills and situational awareness.
Ability to make immediate, composed decisions during emergency situations with minimal supervision.
Ability to walk 18–20 km and climb stairs as part of regular patrol duties.
Must live in or near Wabamun, AB (Spruce Grove, Parkland County, surrounding areas).
High School Diploma/GED.
