About the Role
We’re searching for a hands-on yet strategic data leader who will unify Float’s data foundation, raise organizational decision quality, deliver customer-facing insights, and become Float’s ambassador for clarity, truth, and AI-enabled innovation.
This role is responsible for building and scaling both Business Intelligence and Data Science, defining Float’s long-term data architecture, enabling teams through better literacy and self-serve capabilities, and partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and the Executive Team.
If you’re energized by building from 0 → 1, simplifying complexity, leading high-performing teams, and shaping how an entire organization consumes and acts on data — this is the place to do it.

Build and lead the roadmap for applied AI across BI, DS, and product intelligence.

You Constantly Learn and Grow. You’re hungry to improve your craft and open to feedback. You bring a growth mindset to everything you do.
You Raise the Bar. You care about doing things well and efficiently. You balance speed with rigor and always look for ways to improve how we work.

In addition to living our values, you bring:

Experience with customer-facing analytics or DS-driven product features
A track record of raising data literacy and enabling teams through documentation and tooling
