We are seeking a dedicated and patient Direct Support Worker to provide care for children. The role involves supporting parents by preparing meals, maintaining hygiene, monitoring health, behavior, and emotions, offering age-appropriate education, and collaborating with parents to foster positive learning and socialization experiences for the children. Responsibilities also include ensuring a safe, engaging, and clean environment.

Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday, 10:30AM - 6:30PM
Saturday, 10AM - 6PM
Take an inside look at what you will do each day:
Caring for children by establishing schedules and routines, grooming, feeding, changing diapers, and cleaning rooms and toys.
Ensuring a safe environment by monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns, and reporting them to staff and parents.
Collaborating with parents to help children achieve educational and behavioral goals.
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Experience with children (ECE Diploma or the equivalent is ideal)
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Patience, decisiveness, and stamina for activities such as chasing after, lifting, or carrying children. Attentiveness to children's needs and safety.
Able to undergo Vulnerable Sector Checks
Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of childhood development stages.
