Who we need
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Human Resources, we are looking for a trusted partner in capability-building and organizational effectiveness to join us as a Sr Manager, Learning & Organizational Development supporting our teams across North America. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver learning programs, build leadership capability, and strengthen the employee experience across all levels of the organization. You will partner closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and subject matter experts to translate capability needs into practical, scalable learning solutions. Engaged across the full talent and development cycle, you will play a critical role in shaping a consistent, leadership-driven, and growth-oriented culture.
This is a full-time role, currently following a hybrid model working 2-3 days a week on-site at our Scarborough location.

As our new Sr Manager, Learning & Organizational Development, you will:
Build strategic partnerships. Build strategic partnerships. You will collaborate with HRBPs and leaders to understand capability gaps, organizational needs, and development priorities. You will translate insights into well-structured learning programs, talent processes, and leadership development initiatives that support business goals across regions.
Act as a learning and organizational development advisor. You will consult with leaders on development needs, organization effectiveness opportunities, and change readiness. You will provide practical, evidence-based recommendations that strengthen leadership capability and support team effectiveness.
Design and deliver learning programs. You will develop scalable learning content, curricula, facilitator guides, and toolkits that can be delivered by HRBPs and business leaders. You will also personally facilitate workshops, learning circles, and leadership development sessions using adult learning principles, digital learning tools, and curated content.
Lead talent and succession processes. You will design, implement, and enhance our talent assessment and succession planning framework. You will create leader-friendly tools, templates, dashboards, and resources that support effective talent reviews, development planning, and succession pipeline growth.
Strengthen organizational effectiveness. You will conduct needs assessments, diagnose organizational challenges, and recommend targeted interventions such as facilitated workshops, reset sessions, and team effectiveness activities. You will build practical tools that help leaders embed expectations and strengthen culture.
Support culture and change initiatives. You will develop communication guides, leader toolkits, and adoption resources that support change readiness and reinforce desired behaviours. You will help leaders operationalize culture through accessible tools, aligned programs, and repeatable practices.
Manage and enhance learning systems. You will administer our global LMS, ensuring effective user access, reporting, content integration, learning pathways, and overall system adoption. You will promote and maintain structured learning programs and digital learning experiences.
Evaluate and evolve programs. You will measure participation, effectiveness, skill growth, and feedback trends. You will use insights to refresh content, strengthen learning pathways, and enhance organizational development programs.
Collaborate. You will work closely with colleagues across local and global HR teams to ensure alignment on talent programs, leadership initiatives, organizational development strategies, and learning priorities. You will participate in cross-functional HR projects that support continuous improvement across the function.
You have:
The learning consultant skills. You ask the right questions to uncover development needs, leadership gaps, and organizational challenges. You translate insights into accessible materials, toolkits, guides, workflows, and clear communication. You have exceptional relationship-building and facilitation skills and can influence and support leaders at all levels.
The expertise. You bring progressive experience, in learning, organizational development, talent management, or a related field. You have demonstrated success designing and delivering learning programs, building leadership capability, and managing organizational change. You have strong instructional design skills and are comfortable engaging senior leaders.
The practical experience. You understand how learning and development strategies strengthen organizational capability. You can manage large-scale change, support leaders through development planning, and deliver training to diverse, global audiences. You have experience conducting needs assessments and translating insights into practical solutions.
The project management. You have led complex, cross-functional learning or organizational development initiatives. You excel at managing timelines, stakeholder expectations, and deliverables with clarity and discipline. You are highly organized, solution-oriented, and effective at bringing structure to evolving or multi-region environments.
The technical expertise. You are proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with learning systems, LMS platforms, digital learning tools, and instructional design software. You can evaluate program data, interpret feedback, and support decision-making through clear insights. Experience with eLearning authoring tools or visual design platforms is an asset.
