Job Description
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator
As a Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator, and a member of our People & Culture team, your interpersonal, administrative, and networking skills will guide our new colleagues through the hiring process, up to the point of their first day of work.
Salary Range: $54,000 - $57,500 per annum, dependent on experience and education
Job Duties Include:
Ensure all onboarding documentation is collected accurately, including employment contracts, work authorization, background checks, and valid identification
Work in collaboration with the Colleague Accommodations Team to be the main point of contact for incoming colleagues
Lead data entry into the Hotel's HRM system for all new colleagues, and prepare for day-one colleague orientation, including name tags, ID cards, accesses, and lockers
Assist with the full recruitment life-cycle, including job adverts, filtering resumes, pre-screening candidates, and creating and sending job offers
Assist with interviewing candidates provided by recruitment agencies
Track colleague departures, reporting on contract end dates, to accurately forecast headcount and occupancy levels at the hotel and within Colleague Accommodations
Manage the processing of employment verification and background checks for all incoming hires
Lead the onboarding process for all new colleagues, from onboarding to sessions to pre-arrival communication, answering all enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure clear communication with the Hotel's operations, and regional and local People & Culture teams, to ensure all have access to accurate and timely recruitment information for their property
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Acquisition Coordinator to hire the best available talent for all open vacancies
Chair the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Housing Committee
Qualifications
Recruitment experience gained in an internal or agency environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proven discretion and confidentiality in dealing with employment matters
Strong administrative and time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
