Job Summary

The position of Bilingual Systems Optimization Manager is a dynamic and strategic role requiring exceptional planning, organization, and attention to detail across all aspects of day-to-day and long-term operations. This position is responsible not only for the administrative reporting of all assigned units, but also for developing continuity plans for senior leadership, spearheading new initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality in managing sensitive information and documentation.
Major Responsibility Areas:• Maintains a strong and collaborative relationship with the Regional Director of Operations through daily communication, reporting on deficiencies, highlighting new developments, and offering proactive solutions.• Leads digital innovation and creative initiatives, including the design and implementation of marketing tools, QR codes, barcodes, and other interactive platforms; holds full administrative control and oversight of Date Code Genie software to ensure accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration across all units.• Develops and executes continuity plans for all senior team members to ensure operational resilience and continuity.• Leads the creation, management, and housing of confidential documents including sensitive HR, operational, and financial records, ensuring the highest levels of discretion and compliance.• Initiates and drives new projects and innovative approaches, identifying opportunities to optimize systems, streamline workflows, and elevate service delivery.• Actively participates in senior team meetings, strategy sessions, and leadership events, providing critical insights, operational updates, and solutions-focused recommendations.• Oversees and refines administrative systems, processes, and functions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Compass Group Canada standards.• Provides strong HR support across assigned units, including recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, transitions, employee relations, with a focus on operational excellence during new unit mobilizations.• Reviews operational efficiencies and develops new documentation, training resources, and communication tools tailored to evolving business needs.• Supports bid selection processes in unionized environments, ensuring compliance and presence throughout negotiations.• Implements and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance, ensure client expectations are met, and recommend strategic adjustments.• Prioritizes tasks based on client and organizational needs, producing timely and accurate reports to support decision-making.• Upholds professionalism in all communications, maintaining credibility with clients, associates, and leadership teams.
Qualifications:• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Hospitality and/or Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management; advanced FST, Smart Serve, or equivalent food safety certification preferred.• Minimum three years of food service management experience, with proven ability to manage complex operations.• Strong experience in fiscal management, including budgets, contracts, and project costs.• Demonstrated experience in confidential information management and leadership continuity planning.• Excellent client relationship management, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiar with food service POS/IT systems.Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
