We are seeking a Project Consultant - Labelling to join the IT Systems Development team. This position is entirely on-site and can be based at our Chicago, IL or Milton, ON offices. Role Summary The Project Consultant – Labelling is responsible for the efficient implementation, optimization, and support of standard labelling solutions across ROCKWOOL OPCOs. The role focuses on maximizing business benefits, ensuring system consistency, and providing consulting services to achieve group-wide synergies while minimizing costs. The consultant will partner with stakeholders to design, deliver, document, and support labelling projects, as well as train users and contribute to continuous service improvement. This role will also require travel inside and outside of North America. What you will be doing: Lead and support labelling system implementation projects to ensure efficiency, consistency, and knowledge transfer across the organization Advise OPCOs on project approaches, maximizing benefits, and achieving group synergies, while supporting documentation and training Maintain standardized, comprehensive documentation for all implementations and ensure system compatibility Support the adoption of global labelling design approaches, including training, issue resolution, and continuous policy improvement Ensure data quality and facilitate effective data exchange between teams and systems Provide consulting assistance to project groups, including identifying opportunities for common system setups and business synergies Maintain contracts, vendor relationships, and service level agreements (SLAs/OLAs) related to labelling solutions Monitor system performance, report on KPIs, and communicate with stakeholders about system updates, changes, and scheduled maintenance Contribute to IT service strategy, capacity planning, and the transition from local to global applications Ensure all project and consulting work adheres to ROCKWOOL’s policies, procedures, and security guidelines Willingness and ability to travel for project requirements (up to 70 days per year) Out-of-hours support (1 week in every 4 weeks) What you bring: 2+ years of IT support Experience with label management systems (e.g., TEKLYNX) Familiarity with barcode and RFID technologies, including hardware setup and troubleshooting (printers, scanners, Zebra tablets) Competence in administering Windows Server and Windows OS environments Knowledge of relational databases and integration with business systems (SQL Server) Exposure to IT systems integration, APIs, and middleware solutions Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs) understanding of RDP, MFA, and endpoint security Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL processes, incident/change management, and using Service Desk tools Ability to write basic automation scripts (PowerShell) Knowledge of setting up and maintaining system monitoring dashboards Skilled in creating technical documentation and delivering user training What we offer: Competitive Pay & Benefits from Day 1: Comprehensive medical, dental, massage therapy and vision plans.
