Duties:
In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
Marking exams, assignments, helping with securing guest speakers, and hosting online office hours to review exam grades.
Hosting class-based online group activities.
Support overall course delivery and student engagement.
You will report directly to your supervisor Dr. Barb Fornssler
Qualifications: (Skills and Abilities)
-PhD-level graduate student
-Previously completed PUB 849 Advanced concepts in harm reduction
-Research experience on substance use related topics
-Community-based engagement experience for harm reduction services and research practice
-Prior experience as TA in the School of Public Health
Applicants without a strong background in substance use harm reduction related research will not be considered.
