About the Role
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager for Security Engineering to build and lead Float’s security function as we scale.
This role blends hands-on security engineering (~60%) with people leadership and cross-functional enablement. You’ll unify security operations, application security, and infrastructure security into a single, pragmatic organization that enables Float to move fast and safely.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead and grow Float’s security engineering team.
Own detection, response, cloud security, and secure SDLC practices.
Build security tooling and automation.
Partner with Engineering to embed security into workflows.
Support external trust conversations with customers and auditors.
Contribute directly to security systems and tooling.
