Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Director, Commodity Marketing on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will champion marketing excellence through innovative omni-channel campaigns that elevate customer and member experiences across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). In this role you and your team will deliver marketing campaigns, promotions and programs that resonate across diverse sectors. This position is a hybrid opportunity, preferably based in Saskatoon, SK. However, base location may be flexible depending on the candidate.
What you’ll do:
Shape our long-term marketing vision, ensuring strategies that align with organizational goals and brand standards.
Collaborate with commodity leaders to design integrated programs that increase revenue and market share across sectors (Gas Bar, C-store, Food, Pharmacy, Liquor, Agro, and Home and Building Solutions).
Support local Co-ops with tools and resources that enable successful execution of marketing programs.
Lead the development of B2B, B2C, and B2F marketing plans and omni-channel campaigns, ensuring cohesive brand alignment throughout.

You will join a marketing team that has received multiple awards and accolades from respected industry associations. You will be one of two directors reporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP), Brand & Marketing. Your role will foster a culture of innovation, encourage employee engagement, and drive value creation. The successful candidate will lead 3 direct reports and their teams. Importantly, this role also works hand-in-hand with commodity and business leaders to deliver a customer-centric approach to marketing programs.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in marketing leadership and:
Have 10+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in marketing with an emphasis on consumer and retail marketing.
Have experience leading a team of direct reports.
Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or journalism (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Have affiliation with marketing and communications professional bodies (considered an asset).
Have experience with cooperative advertising programs.
