Summary:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives to promote LCC (Language and Career College) and our programs domestically and nationally. This role focuses on campaign strategy, prioritizing digital and channel marketing including Google SEO/SEM, social media (organic/paid), and funnel marketing—to increase brand visibility, engagement, and enrollment.
How You’ll Make a Difference:
Develop, implement, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns (organic and paid) digital paid advertising.
Lead, mentor, and direct the design team for graphics and visual asset creation, overseeing branding and quality across all channels, formats, and campaign initiatives.
Set up and optimize marketing strategies on Google SEO/SEM, social media (organic and paid), funnel marketing, and cross-channel marketing, leveraging best practices and analytics for campaign success.
Manage and optimize budgeting for all marketing initiatives, tracking spending, ROI, and reporting outcomes.
Analyze and improve user experience across the marketing and enrolment funnel; make recommendations to increase engagement, conversion, and enrollment rates.
Ensure all campaigns and assets align with LCC’s inclusion, accessibility, and brand standards.
Actively engage in B2B initiatives, referral programs, internal collaborations, community partnerships, and media, including digital outreach channels.
Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to coordinate and drive B2B engagement and partnership development.
Monitor, collect, and report performance metrics (engagement, conversions, enrolments).
Perform related duties as assigned.

What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and minimum four (4) years professional marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge of programs and services for post-secondary colleges in BC is an asset.
Demonstrated cultural competency and commitment to working effectively with diverse populations.
Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on copywriting and proofreading.
Proficiency in digital platforms and tools: SEO, Google Ads, social media, and email marketing. Knowledge of offline marketing tactics such as flyers, posters, and community outreach in settlement hubs.
Ability to segment and tailor campaigns by region, language group, or immigration status.
Creative in adapting materials quickly to suit low-literacy or tech-limited audiences.
Design and editing skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Microsoft.
Comfortable using CRM systems or enrollment data to target and refine outreach.
Knowledge of user feedback tools or surveys to assess effectiveness and improve.
Self-starter with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and analytics.
Ability to maintain a clear provincial criminal record check.

Expected Hiring Range: $26.47 - $29.13 Dependent on education, training, experience, and internal equity. Wage grids are reviewed annually. We are a proud and certified Living Wage BC Employer.
