Pay Range $60,000-$75,000 The HR Technology Analyst is responsible for visualizing and delivering metrics, analytics and insights to support the execution of VHA’s HR projects and strategies. This role works with the HR Technology team to maintain data integrity, processes and workflows. This role will also support ERP/Workday maintenance and future implementation and optimization activities. This position falls within the Human Resources Department, and reports to VHA’s Manager, HR Technology and People Analytics. Key Areas of Accountability: Assist with the day-to-day end user HR system support proactively managing and responding to support requests. Assist with system administration, business process configuration, implementation and testing in Workday. Build, execute and distribute weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for a variety of stakeholders and audiences. Translate HR data into insights and stories through different data visualization methods to summarize HR data, identify trends and issues, and assist in decision making. Ensure ongoing data quality and integrity across all HR systems. Maintain and analyze ad-hoc surveys as required and help present results in a clear and compelling way. Provide support for HR systems, including researching issues, unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet system and workflow requirements. Assist with the development of end-user training resources on various system functionality. Support strategic assignments/projects within the HR function. Understand and document the impact of configuration changes on business processes and communicating to business stakeholders. Perform mass uploads in Workday using enterprise integration builder (EIB). Work towards being a Workday subject matter expert across multiple modules. Review new system release notes, analyze impacts, and coordinate appropriate adoption strategy including testing, process revision and documentation updates. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: 1-3 years’ experience with HR systems, processes, integrations/data, and analytics is required. College/University Degree with a major in Human Resource Management or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience implementing or supporting Workday. Certified Human Resource Professional Designation is an asset. Solid analytical and technical skills to gather, interpret and report on data from various sources such as multiple HCM platforms. Power BI skills are a definite asset. Knowledge of community health care and services is an asset. Demonstrated track record of partnering with key stakeholders to resolve problems with innovative solutions. Ability to work with shifting priorities, and the ability to reassess and reprioritize competing business needs. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong commitment to customer service and innovation by creating new and better ways to solve problems. Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence. Solid computer literacy and demonstrated effort to continuously develop and upgrade skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
