What You'll Be Doing
As a Precision Ag Student, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting the adoption and integration of advanced agricultural technology. You’ll assist with field demonstrations, customer and team training, and the use of digital tools like the John Deere Operations Center. This role will give you the opportunity to work directly with equipment, analyze agronomic data, and collaborate with different departments to help deliver innovative solutions to our customers.
Responsibiliites
Support key dealership initiatives to increase Precision Ag technology adoption.
Operate equipment and technology for in-field training and demonstrations.
Deliver presentations and training to customers and internal teams.
Set up and execute agronomic trials and communicate key findings.
Train users on Precision Ag tools and software platforms.
Collaborate with other departments to provide hardware and software support.
Assist with other departmental tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Valid G class driver’s license.
Comfortable operating large farm equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
Interest in technology and agriculture.
Education
Minimum high school diploma; current enrollment in an agricultural college or university program preferred.
