We have a new position available within our dynamic and growing firm for an Intake Clerk in our Litigation Department in our Barrie location.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the legal field, including experience with respect to the responsibilities outlined below;
Receive and review new client inquiries and related tasks
Open new litigation files in the firm’s case management system
Schedule client appointments
Provide administrative support to lawyers and staff by maintaining up-to-date electronic and paper files, scanning correspondence, and managing incoming communications.
Ensure all client deadlines, appointments, and follow-ups are accurately diarized and completed on time.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, strong attention to detail and have a clear understanding of the value in providing excellent client service. Working in a team environment with experienced Law Clerks, Assistants and Lawyers, you will be responsible for handling legal work related to litigation matters. A great attitude and emphasis on client experience is a must. Program specific IT training will be provided through our in-house IT staff, as required, on an ongoing basis.
