Your Role
The Pharmacy Operations Manager, in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Murphy’s Kinlock Pharmacy including the team’s scheduling, onboarding, training, and adherence to operational processes to support the fulfillment of the team’s goals — accuracy, efficiency, quality, organization — while maintaining regulatory compliance.
While we all collaborate to provide services to clients, we all play different roles to make this happen. You’ll contribute by:
Manage the pharmacy team’s schedule and after-hours scheduling.
Monitor and maintain an efficient workflow in the pharmacy at all times including redirecting staff as required
Schedule applicable pharmacy operations activities such as shipping and receiving, equipment maintenance, quality reporting.
Manage inventory management processes, including stock and supply levels to maintain efficient operations
Troubleshoot technical problems as they arise and contact contractors as required
Develop and oversee on-boarding, coordination and training of new staff and support existing employees in learning and development
Problem solves and/or participate in internal and external conflict resolution as required
Collaborate with other support team members on a routine basis
Help with pharmacy operations/drug distribution when required
Ensure pharmacy operations are compliant to all applicable legislation, College of Pharmacy policies and company policies.
Other duties will be assigned as required for business needs
Technical Competencies
Excellent working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems
Competency with Microsoft Office software
Ability to operate and troubleshoot issue with PACMed and PACVision
Demonstrate ability in compounding medicines
