Law Clerk -- Full-time position

Acting for a number of well-known clients including financial institutions, leasing companies, multinational corporations, and owner-operated businesses, KRMC is a collaborative firm which offers a collegial work environment. We are currently seeking to hire multiple reliable and detail-oriented Law Clerks to join our Mortgage Enforcement Department.

Responsibilities Include:

Preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal documents (including demand letters, notices of sale, statements of claim, default judgments, motion records, etc.);
Service and filing of court documents through court portals or as otherwise required;
Daily file management through all stages of the legal process;
Working with various programs (including Case Master Pro, ACL, PC Law and various client systems);
Communicating with clients and opposing parties;
Other duties asrequired and assigned.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience working as a Law Clerk in a related practice area is preferred
College Diploma/University Degree in a relevant field is a must;
Proficiency in MS Office applications;
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure;
Ability to workboth independently and collaboratively;
Professional, friendly demeanor with a strong ability to build productive relationships;
Strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure;
Satisfactory criminal records check will be required from the selected candidate as a condition of employment.
