Position Summary:

The Logistics Manager oversees outbound logistics, shipping coordination, inventory control, and job fulfillment for all work leaving the facility. This role ensures jobs are shipped accurately, on time, and in accordance with production and client specifications. They are also responsible for labeling kitted jobs, maintaining inventory levels, creating material receipts for incoming goods, and ensuring alignment across departments to meet production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping \& Job Dispatch:

Coordinate and execute all outgoing or incoming shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
Verify job completion and approval prior to release
Create and apply clear, detailed labels for large kitting jobs to ensure accurate identification and distribution.
Manage courier pickups, freight bookings, and in-house deliveries including preparation of BOLs, courier forms, and packing slips.
Track outbound shipments and resolve issues such as delays or delivery discrepancies.

Inventory \& Stock Management:

Monitor inventory levels for shipping materials, packaging supplies, and key outbound substrates stored in the shipping zone.
Conduct cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate restocking with the purchasing team.
Create material receipts for purchase orders (POs), confirming quantities received and logging discrepancies as needed.
Ensure proper receiving and documentation of inbound stock and packaging materials.

Logistics Coordination:

Maintain accurate shipping logs and delivery records for traceability and internal audits.
Collaborate with project managers and production leads on time-sensitive or large-format deliveries.
Provide tracking numbers and delivery updates to internal stakeholders or clients upon request.

Team \& Facility Oversight:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
Operate or oversee the use of forklifts and pallet jacks when handling heavy or oversized jobs.
Assist in cross-training and maintaining team flexibility across packaging and shipping functions.

Skills \& Qualifications:

3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse coordination; large format or manufacturing experience is an asset.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and process adherence.
Comfortable creating and managing labels for large or multi-component kits.
Experience with PO receiving and material entry in an ERP or tracking system.
Proficiency in shipping software, courier portals (FedEx, UPS, Purolator), and ERP tools (e.g., ShopVox).
Forklift certification is an asset.
