At Leo Burnett, José further refined his expertise by leading creative teams responsible for global campaigns for a diverse portfolio of prestigious brands, such as Nike, Maserati, Alfa-Romeo, Alitalia, Ferretti Group, Montblanc, McDonald’s, Campari, Beck’s, Philip Morris, Mondadori, Electa, Fedrigoni, IngDirect, Menarini, and many others. His ability to adapt to different brand languages and deliver compelling, tailored narratives established him as a trusted creative force in the advertising world.
In his most recent role as Global Creative Director at Silversea Cruises, José played an instrumental part in elevating the brand into the recognizable personality it is today within the luxury travel sector. Collaborating closely with senior executives, he redefined Silversea’s brand positioning and creative vision by steering global brand development and multi-channel campaigns that boosted brand awareness by 300% and significantly enhanced customer engagement. His leadership extended beyond creative strategy: In 2023, he was appointed Director of the Onboard Photography Program, a role that leveraged his expertise to enhance the expedition experience and generate new revenue streams. Moreover, José co-invented innovative onboard initiatives such as SALT, a culinary program, and OTIVUM, a spa experience, in close collaboration with the product strategy team and naval architects, setting Silversea apart in a competitive market.
