The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team in Toronto. In this role, you will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent across technical, engineering, and business functions. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the leadership team and shape the talent strategy of a high-growth, technology-driven company from the ground up.

Compensation:

Total Compensation: CAD $80,000 -- $150,000 (mix of base salary + performance incentives)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across multiple functions including engineering, operations, and business development.
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define role requirements.
Create compelling job descriptions and recruitment campaigns to attract top talent.
Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and referrals.
Manage candidate pipelines, conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and oversee the hiring process.
Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to build a robust pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Maintain an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Support employer branding initiatives to enhance Coolium's visibility as an employer of choice.
Analyze recruiting metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on hiring progress and strategy optimization.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of talent acquisition, recruiting, or sourcing experience, preferably in a high-growth tech, engineering, or startup environment.
Exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to connect with candidates.
Proven track record of successfully recruiting for technical and engineering roles.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
Proficiency with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building teams and driving company growth.
Based in Toronto, with flexibility for occasional in-person meetings and events.
