Compensation:

Responsibilities

Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues
Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes
Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper functioning of cranes
Review customer technical inquiries and recommend solutions related to operation or maintenance
Respond to service calls
Perform cold calling to attract new customers
Proactively propose technical solutions to increase equipment durability, reliability, productivity, and safety

Education \& Experience

Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree
Electrical Licence such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician, or Red Seal
Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
At least 3 years of related work experience
Welding experience is an asset

Skills \& Abilities

Ability to solve technical problems
Effective communication of issues to customers
Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
High initiative and flexibility
Ability to work variable hours, overtime, and be 'on call' as needed
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
