Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes
- Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper functioning of cranes
- Review customer technical inquiries and recommend solutions related to operation or maintenance
- Respond to service calls
- Perform cold calling to attract new customers
- Proactively propose technical solutions to increase equipment durability, reliability, productivity, and safety
Education \& Experience
- Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree
- Electrical Licence such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician, or Red Seal
- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- Welding experience is an asset
Skills \& Abilities
- Ability to solve technical problems
- Effective communication of issues to customers
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
- High initiative and flexibility
- Ability to work variable hours, overtime, and be 'on call' as needed
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
