The Role Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

Schedule and manage teams, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management
Attend and contribute to regular operations meetings focused on revenue, labor, and employee feedback
Oversee daily inventory and venue readiness to ensure smooth operations
Ensure liquor license compliance and responsible service standards
Champion internal feedback programs and VIP experiences
Support marketing and event execution across all Gibbons nightclubs
Uphold Core Values: Encourage Trust, Have fun, Show Kindness, Lead with Purpose and Commit to Excellence
Staff training, ensuring the team understand the 7-day programming and targets for the day including product knowledge
Shift inventory to ensure the business is set up for success the following shift

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality, supervisory or management experience an asset.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Administration and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, POS systems, and employee timekeeping software.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle fast-paced, dynamic environments.
A passion for nightlife culture and creating memorable experiences.
Ability to work late hours and weekends.
Serving It Right certification.
First-Aid (OFA 1 equivalent) is an asset.
