Responsibilities and Duties
1. Plans and directs the development of all media informational materials, photography, newsletters and other communications necessary to publicize and promote the destination and programs.
2. Conducts outreach to key social media influencers to arrange hosted visits and partnerships for favourable coverage of the destination.
3. Executes customer and partner nurturing programmes.
4. Plans and coordinates local participation in all overseas promotional programmes in collaboration with Overseas office.
5. Analyzes and evaluates tourism data, market intelligence and other tourism related information to inform recommendations.
6. Manages and executes designated marketing projects and programmes as agreed.
7. Develops and implements the Authority’s advertising and promotional strategies and plans in collaboration with Manager.
8. Negotiates, coordinates and participates in promotional tours and familiarisation visits ensuring maximum benefit to Grenada.
9. Contributes to the execution of local Tourism Awareness Programmes.
10. Coordinates and actively participates in all marketing programmes.
11. Contributes to the preparation of promotional information/collateral material/give-aways etc.
12. Maintains updated databases of travel agents, media and key players/partner.
13. Keeps up to date with social and political events in all source markets.
14. Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
