Harvest has an immediate opening for a Senior Operations Engineer, Oilsands, reporting to the Manager, Operations. This is a permanent position based out of the Calgary Corporate Office Responsibilities: Update and optimize all production and CPF process key performance indicators. Analytically review all related data and provide recommendations of optimization and efficiency to operations and management. Provide troubleshooting support during periods of well and/or CPF instability. Integrate with Production Engineering and Facility Engineering in common towards the asset’s goals and objectives near and long term. Analytically and technically enhance the assets’ overall reliability, identify associated risks, and risk mitigation improvements. Support development, review, and updating of operating procedures, best practices, and safety protocols related to SAGD operations. Provide technical expertise and support for operational projects, including well workovers, facility upgrades, and new technology implementation. Support all regulatory and auditory requirements associated with the asset. Prepare and present management projects and operational reports. Qualifications B. Sc. in Engineering with minimum10 years of experience in Western Canada and a registered professional member in good standing with APEGA. Preference to Mechanical or Chemical designation or related discipline. Strong understanding of SAGD principles, well completion, stimulation techniques, and surface facilities.
