Our client is a growing warehousing and distribution company known for its strong operational team and customer-first approach. With a commitment to excellence and efficiency, they are looking to bring on a Junior Accountant to support their day-to-day financial operations and contribute to a high-performing accounting team.

Position Summary:

As the Junior Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring smooth daily accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to build experience in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
Support month-end and year-end closings
Help compile financial reports and statements
Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams for invoice matching and issue resolution
Provide administrative support to the Controller and senior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1--2 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work on-site full-time, Monday to Friday
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
