Your role :
Rona Inc. is looking for a
UX Lead Designer to drive exceptional user experiences across our e-commerce website and mobile app for B2C and B2B. This hands-on role blends design execution, system design leadership, and UX advocacy across the organization. You'll work in Figma, improve our design system, and ensure seamless, user-centric experiences.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Product, UX, and SEO, you’ll also manage and mentor one UX Designer while championing UX best practices company-wide.
- Design intuitive, high-quality user experiences for web and mobile commerce.
- Develop and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to align UX with business goals.
- Partner with Marketing team to embody our branding online.
- Conduct user research and testing, plus AB testing to validate designs and improve usability.
- Coach and mentor the UX Designer, fostering growth and skill development.
- Advocate for UX best practices, helping to build a user-centered culture.
The qualifications we are looking for :
- 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a focus on e-commerce.
- Proficiency in Figma and strong understanding of design systems.
- Experience designing for both web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of user research, accessibility, and UX principles.
- Ability to balance hands-on design work with leadership and coaching.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Retail or home improvement industry experience is a plus.
