Job Description Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of plastic injection molding processes to design components that are cost-effective and manufacturable.
- Apply sheet metal fabrication techniques to create durable and visually appealing display structures.
- Conduct feasibility studies and material selection for new projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and optimize production processes.
- Implement design changes based on test results and feedback from stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for production.
- Maintain accurate records of design iterations and project progress.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in plastic injection molding and sheet metal fabrication.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience in new product development.

Knowledge of GD\&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Experience with DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
