1 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑ Dietary Aide
Nutrition and Food Services
It is a condition of this posting that your home unit can accommodate your temporary absence in the event
you are successful.
This position will involve working the evening, weekend shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a guarantee.
Under the direct supervision of the Food Services Supervisor, performs dietary duties as assigned. Assignment of
responsibilities may rotate within the schedule, determined by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
* Minimum completion of Grade Ten
* Ontario Food Handler Training Certificate, current within the last 5 years is required
* Knowledge of HACCP is an asset
* One year experience working in a large quantity kitchen would be an asset
* Knowledge of computer software, large quantity production equipment such as: stoves, ovens, grills, mixers,
blenders, peelers, vegetable chopper/dicer, meat slicer, mincer, microwave ovens, cash register
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
* Must be able to communicate effectively (tasks related to skill ‑ reading of work schedules, cleaning lists, and
communicating with fellow employees)
Salary Range: $26.398 to 26.764
