Position: Strategic Sourcing Partner -- Cloud \& Platform Vendors
Duration: March 31, 2025 -- September 30, 2025
Location: Hybrid in BC or Remote (must work PST hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage supplier relationships across assigned business areas.
- Lead supplier lifecycle activities including sourcing, onboarding, contracting, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, procedures, and risk standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Security) on RFx processes, contract reviews, and security assessments.
- Negotiate and manage contracts including SLAs, KPIs, escalation paths, and change controls.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance, financial health, and delivery against SLAs/KPIs.
- Plan and lead regular supplier meetings, business reviews, and executive engagements.
- Proactively manage contract renewals, demand planning, budget forecasting, and overage alerts.
- Drive resolution of issues or disputes between suppliers and company business units.
- Contribute to supplier data automation and ensure visibility through dashboard reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cloud and platform technology suppliers.
- Proven experience with vendor performance and financial management.
- Strong vendor relationship management skills across a variety of stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Ability to navigate legal documents (e.g., contracts, NDAs, T\&Cs).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
- Comfortable presenting updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Experience developing supplier risk management programs is a plus.
