WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS ROLE
RESPONSBIILITIES
- Support the SVP \& Chief Claims Officer with day-to-day execution of business strategy, including management and documentation of leadership team meetings and execution of strategic planning sessions offsites and internal staff engagement forums.
- Lead and manage the development of internal and external presentations, communications, and other reports as they relate to Claims
- Prepare summarized responses in timely manner to all queries from stakeholders, as required.
- Support ad hoc requests from Claims SLT, include liaising across teams to track initiatives, gather information, and support from a project management perspective
- Act as Claims liaison across the Enterprise, to answer questions, connect colleagues, and provide subject matter expertise
- Planning meetings and engaging with meeting stakeholders to execute small details
- Assist with determining the best way to track leadership performance and with keeping teams on track towards their goals
- Support adherence to governance processes, and assist with change management to update and refine governance structures as necessary
- Travel will be required to attend in-person Claims SLT
WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE?
- University degree or college diploma in business administration, finance, or a related discipline
- 6 years of relevant, full-time experience in P\&C Insurance, or financial instruction
- 4 years of management experience
- Strong project-management skills, with previous on the job success in project management
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is required.
- Proven record of analytical expertise and excellent attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication/presentation skills and ability to interact with senior executives and other cross divisional leaders in the organization
- An ability to make to make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions
- Ability to work in a team or independently with low supervision
- Self-motivated and consistently demonstrates an ability to take initiative on any issue
- An ability to adapt to new environments and take on new challenges
- Previous experience in management consulting or a similar role would be an asset
- Salary Range: $77,100 - $142,000
