Canadian Summer Job Program- Project Administration Officer
Are you a student or new grad looking for a summer job? This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop their research, program development and communications skills through a very rewarding summer job as aProject Administration Officer withthe Campbellford Curling Club . The Campbellford Curling Club is seeking two motivated individuals to research and develop new recreational programs that will make use of our facilities to benefit the community. Bring your ideas, innovation and enthusiasm to help us grow and market our services to the community. You will also have lots of fun by helping to run our summer cornhole leagues!
Job Duties:
- Research and document existing child/youth recreational programs available to parents during the summer and school breaks.
- Meet with local organizations and parents to determine gaps in child/youth recreational programs.
- Develop new child/youth recreational programs for future implementation.
- Explore options for developing other types of recreational programs (e.g., for young parents or aging adults).
- Create marketing materials for these new programs.
- Work with Club's Fundraising Committee to develop fundraising opportunities.
- Present new recreational program and fundraising ideas to Board of Directors for feedback.
- Review and update Club's orientation materials for new Board members.
- Create video shorts for Club's YouTube Channel to promote facilities.
- Provide updates to Club's website as needed.
- Assist Club Manager with day to day activities as needed.
- Support social cornhole leagues by registering participants each week.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with developing recreational programs and/or marketing recreational programs.
- Knowledge or experience in working with kids/youth programs.
- Collaboration skills to work with other staff, volunteers and Board Members.
- Motivated to do a good job and complete tasks on time.
- Proactive in learning and developing new skills.
- Proficient in using technology, desktop software programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), apps and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with YouTube channels and/or creating short videos.

· Number of positions available: 2
· Salary: $17.20 per hour
· Schedule: Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week
