Team Management: Oversee project teams, including supervisors and subcontractors, while mentoring junior staff and fostering continuous improvement.

Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets and financial reports, ensuring cost-effective procurement and addressing potential cost overruns.

Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, identify project risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and building strong relationships.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high construction quality through regular inspections and prompt resolution of deficiencies.

Education and Certifications:

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

PMP or other project management certification is an asset.

Valid local trade certifications or Red Seal qualifications are advantageous.

Experience:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on wood frame residential and mixed-use projects.

Proven experience in leading large-scale projects from inception to completion.

Familiarity with local building codes, permit processes, and municipal regulations in Vancouver, BC.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000
