Job Description: Responsibilities:

Handle approximately 100 accounts in collection, primarily through phone communication
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of cash receipts, irrespective of the invoice method
Manage daily invoicing tasks, aiming to send out invoices by noon via email
Maintain open and effective communication given the significant amount of phone interaction involved in the role
Review and verify paperwork as part of the invoicing process
Utilize Epicor ERP system and Microsoft Excel for managing collection processes and aging reports
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
Maintain a strong focus on meeting deadlines in all tasks
Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Controller, Senior Accountant, and Director of Finance departments as part of daily duties

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar position within the manufacturing industry
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures
Familiarity with Collection Processes, including knowledge of best practices and industry standards
Experience with Epicor software for managing and streamlining business processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, manage, and interpret complex spreadsheets
Experience with Aging Reports and Aging Accounts, with the ability to accurately track and manage overdue payments
Demonstrated skills in Collections, with a focus on reducing company debt and maintaining financial health
Experience with Collections - Commercial, including the ability to manage and negotiate commercial accounts
Ability to handle Monthly Invoices, including creating, sending, and tracking payment for these invoices
