YOUR ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow standard warehouse practices and work instructions required to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy
- Documents and identifies all discrepancies to the Team Lead
- Accurately complete routine documentation, such as check-in sheets for export/import, manifests, MHE inspections and other documents pertaining to warehouse operations
- Perform a variety of physically demanding general labor duties according to standard work instructions, such as manually loading and unloading goods from a trailer, manually loading x-ray machine with unsecure cargo
- Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in the execution of standard warehousing processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, checking and loading customer orders and products
- Comply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Transport Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met
- Demonstrates and maintains a skill set capable of operating a variety of equipment used in a traditional warehouse environment examples include but are not limited to: scanners, computers, scales, pallet jacks and a variety of motorized material handling
- Follows all company safety, security and housekeeping protocols. Respects customer and company property and equipment
- Proactive in accident \& incident prevention and fills out these reports promptly and accurately when required
- Other duties as assigned
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years warehouse (Shipping/Receiving) and forklift experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting with no accommodations (50lbs)
- Experience with Dangerous Goods is preferable
- Availability to work periodic overtime and a variety of shifts in order to meet the requirements of the operation
