Who We Are Responsibilities:
- Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain required records, reports, statistics, in accordance with policies and legislative requirements.
- · Assisting millwrights/mechanic with greasing, set up of equipment and general maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs etc.
- Check control panels and equipment to identify issues.
- Assist with installation of new or modified equipment, guards etc.
- Possible general cleaning activities where required.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation, doors, conveyors, balers).
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm, emergency lighting, guarding).
- Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to ensure the proper and safe operation of the plant.
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and free of any safety hazards at all times.
- Observe safe work practices.
- Other duties as required.
Skills \& Qualifications:

Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing environment.

Basic electrical understanding and knowledge.

Ability to make general repairs to building and equipment.

Ability to work independently as well as take direction.

Proven mechanical aptitude.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to work bent over for extended period.
-
Ability to bend, push, and pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Punctual, reliable, team player.

Post secondary mechanical technology an asset.
