Drawing on your strong experience working with continuous improvement initiatives, you will cooperate in the designing of work systems with the aim of improving the productivity of process flows under ergonomic aspects.

Leveraging your process improvement expertise, you will deliver practical, hands-on tools and methodologies for the elimination of waste.

Your project management skills will be used to support assigned continuous improvement projects to achieve targeted savings and develop reporting and scorecard systems accordingly.

Utilizing your excellent collaboration and communication skills, you will guide the continuous improvement team in planning, analysis, improvement recommendations, payback analysis, approval, and deployment processes.

Your knowledge of adult learning principles will be used to establish and nurture a continuous improvement culture and maintain the continuous improvement education program, and provide mentoring and training to staff and management.

Completion of a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or closely related field is required.

Certification in Lean manufacturing or related field.

10 years within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment with at least 5 years of Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement Engineering experience.

Proven experience implementing continuous improvement strategies on the shop floor, combined with the ability to explain in layman's terms to front line staff.

Experience facilitating and implementing change management methodologies.

Experience with waste reduction, standardized work, one-piece flow, just in time production, 5S, trying to keep WIP to a minimum, and inventory reduction.

Advanced process analysis and design expertise.

Must be conscientious and maintain confidentiality in daily operations.

Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Strong Project Management skills are required.

Must be able to work in a team environment.

Experience with directing and delegating to cross-functional continuous improvement project team members.

Experience with incorporating adult learning principles is an asset.
