Specific Duties \& Responsibilities Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Completion of 12th grade including or supplemented by related technical courses.
- Experience in the operation of a wide variety of hand tools, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and gas-powered tools including motorized construction and maintenance equipment, such as, but not limited to generators, saws, pumps, power washers, jack hammers, rotary hammer drills, etc
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Moderate knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and materials used in construction maintenance

Experience in Concrete, Tile Setting, and Masonry work is an Asset

Working knowledge of City of Vancouver Bylaws, safety standards

Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with the public and other staff.

Ability to exercise considerable independent of judgement and initiate action for the work.

Ability to follow written (blueprints, work orders, and sketches) as well as verbal instructions and maintain accurate records.

Copy of your five-year ICBC Commercial Driver's Abstract (N Print) directly from ICBC dated within 14 days of this posting

Copy of your five-year ICBC Driver's Claims History directly from ICBC within 14 days of this posting

If you have less than five years driving experience in BC, a request must be made for out of province/country abstract and claims history
