Soroc is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant/ Senior Solution Architect on contract to perm basis for one of our clients in Toronto. Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week in Downtown, TorontoEmployment type: 6 months contract to perm ( looking for someone who can commit to permanent employment after 6 months contract)This Application Enablement Lead role focuses on Application Modernization, Cloud Migration, and Solution DesignQualifications:Education \& Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). TOGAF CertifiedCloud Certified Experience:8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years of experience leading application modernization and cloud migration initiatives as Technical Advisor/Solution Architect/Application Enablement Lead etc.,Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile and DevOps. Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architecture, and API-driven design. Skills and Competencies:Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of application architecture, cloud computing, and modern application frameworks.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems. Leadership: Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
