Overview: Key responsibilities:
- Produce and review GenAI-generated legal narrative according to a strict set of criteria to assess the performance of different prompts and models in a legal context
- Prompt inputs and outputs and note errors in a content management system
- Propose prompts that improve the outputs, using legal tests and reasoning
- Prepare test reports detailing problems and explaining proposed solutions
Qualifications:
- Excellent reading comprehension and attention to detail, including demonstrated proficiency spotting errors and discrepancies
- Ability to identify and describe patterns and trends across multiple affidavits or pleadings
- Familiarity with basic legal research using texts and case law
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a small project team
- Capacity to review potentially distressing information (for example, about family violence)
- Current student in the faculty of law
Assets:
- Interest in learning and working with new software but no prior experience with GenAI is required
- Experience demonstrating patience and focus while doing repetitive tasks
- Prior work with database applications
- Writing or editing experience
