You should be passionate and knowledgeable about:Supplier quality management, specifically SCAR and 8D processes;Electronics manufacturing -- PCBA and mechanical assembly;Process capability measurement, analysis, and improvement;Lean manufacturing;And this is what we'd expect of you:Act as the primary quality interface for SmartD customers. Respond to quality concerns as they arise, and support customer audits of our key suppliers as required. Address quality issues with suppliers.
Issue corrective actions and follow through to satisfactory completion. Develop and optimize final assembly manufacturing processes for our VFDs;Assess the capability of internal manufacturing processes and implement improvements;Develop and deploy incoming inspection criteria and sampling methodology;Assess supplier quality and capability and issue corrective actions as required;Collaborate in the development and deployment of automated test fixtures;Diagnose the root cause of in-process failures and implement corrective action as required;Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes and optimizations;Prepare product MTBF calculations for publication to customers
