Collaborate closely with various Department Managers, translating financial insights and providing resource assistance or strategic advice as required
Support the FP\&A Manager in the detailed review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and comparing the information with appropriate statistics to provide variance analysis on activity and pricing
Gather and analyze financial and statistical information to support both strategic and operational decision-making for the Finance Department and the organization as a whole
Collaborate with the accounting departments to ensure accurate monthly adjustments and accruals are complete
Assist in the preparation and updating of financial projections and forecasts based on evolving financial data and new funding information becomes available
Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to Financial Planning Assistants on financial analysis, reporting, and relevant software
Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
3 years of progressive experience in budgeting and financial analysis
Industry experience in non-profits or government-adjacent organizations is highly valued
A passion for healthcare is a strong asset
Possess a high commitment to providing quality customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High proficiency with use of computers and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as accounting or budgeting software
Previous experience with Oracle is an asset
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of financial and statistical methodologies and practices
