Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process for retail assets including establishing and monitoring key operational, leasing, and capital spend targets.
- Lead a collaborative process with internal and external stakeholders to create, update and maintain asset management plans.
- Perform deep and insightful analysis at the property and/or portfolio level with the goal of providing actionable insights and recommendations to maximize returns and asset value.
- Monthly and quarterly management and variance financial reporting at the asset and portfolio level.
- Identify and/or drive forward process improvement initiatives within the retail portfolio, Asset Management team and contribute to broader, enterprise-wide initiatives impacting the team.
- Work collaboratively to support/coordinate the execution of Financing, Development, and Investment mandates.
- Complete ad hoc projects, such as presentations for senior management, property tour packages, and materials for internal committees, as requested. Play a role in managing co-owner relationships, with a focus on providing word-class customer service.
- Engage in the broader Oxford and OMERS community through participation in company and industry events.
- Mentor and train junior team members by providing training, coaching, and constructive feedback to a dedicated group of Analysts supporting the broader Canadian Asset Management team.

- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Real Estate or Urban Planning.
- 6-8 years of work experience with a focus on retail real estate (asset management, leasing, appraisal, investments, or development), exposure to residential and office real estate considered an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of ARGUS Enterprise considered an asset.
