- Proactively identify new sales opportunities and potential accounts, creating plans to grow sales with new customers.
- Implement sales development initiatives and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with Sales and Store Managers to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and create plans to grow the business.
- Gather market intelligence and report any service or product issues to the assigned Store Managers and Sales Manager.
- Act as the key account manager for head office regarding fleet management.
- Possess a strong understanding of the RFP (Request for Proposal) process.
Qualifications
- Experience in the Automotive Fleet \& Government segment (preferably within the automotive parts industry).
- A minimum of 5 years of sales development experience.
- Strong skills in negotiation, adaptability, problem-solving, and a drive for results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, presentation abilities, customer focus, time management, and perseverance.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel out of the province once per quarter.
- Flexibility to perform fieldwork as required.
