Senior Business Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities

You may be involved in the build or enhancements of client management, trading, transaction processing, transfer management, or integrations with internal and external systems.
Liaise within our business and technology teams for requirements gathering.
Liaise with our application architecture teams for solutions design.
Strong ability to debug, reverse-engineer, and document.
Ensure solutions are lightweight, optimized, and maintainable.
Assist with the preparation and testing of new features or releases.

What You Will Bring

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in .NET C#, SQL.
C++, Java, React, Node JS an asset.
Familiar with GIT, Source Control features (branching/merging), and CI/CD pipelines, Atlassian Confluence, Jira.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Software Development methodology, multi-threading and Concurrency.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in a similar role. Ideally in the brokerage/securities financial industry.
Experience with brokerage book of record systems an asset. (ISM, BPS, Dataphile, RPM R-Broker, Univeris, etc.)
Experience interacting with the markets via CDS, DTC, FundServ, Cannex, Euroclear, Swift, etc.
