Job Description:
- Work with the Social Media Specialist to create, schedule, and manage content for CNIB's social media channels.
- Coordinate the development of visuals and creatives with the social team, ensuring adherence to CNIB's brand guidelines.
- Support the promotion and marketing of CNIB events and programs, including fundraisers, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop event and program-specific marketing materials and communication strategies.
- Help monitor event performance metrics and prepare post-event reports, with the support of the social media specialist.
- Collect and organize data from social media and other digital tools.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations with actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Maintain and update the marketing calendar, tracking campaign timelines, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Coordinate team meetings, take notes, and manage follow-up tasks.
- Serve as a liaison between teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.
Requirements: Who you are: Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience and Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or communication is an asset but not required.
- Non-profit experience is an asset but not required.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.).
- Familiarity with marketing tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Canva, and email marketing platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A passion for CNIB's mission to create a more accessible and inclusive world.
- Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
- Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- Be a Canadian citizens, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations. International students are not eligible participants. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
