Job Description
Perfectly Planted is a small gardening company that installs \& maintains residential properties in downtown Toronto. We are eco-friendly - using all hand tools and natural fertilizers. Our sister company, Petals and Oak, specializes in events and weddings in Toronto.
We are looking for an administrative assistant to work 1-2 days, 8-16 hours per week at our Garden Studio located near Bathurst \& College. The administrative assistant's duties vary from billing, invoicing, creating quotes for clients, receipts inputting, and other tasks. The job does vary from month to month and requires flexibility, the ability to manage your own time, and be self-motivated. This is a great hands-on opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship as you will be working directly with the Founder and Creative Director.
Responsibilities include:

Billing \& invoicing clients

Simple end-of-month financial preparation of books for bookkeeper

Completing financial transactions for clients using a payment terminal

Client-based

Responding to emails as needed

Creating estimates and quotes for potential clients

Researching prices and plants as needed

Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Experience working with finances
- Ability to stay organized and on top of multiple projects at one time
- Self-directed and independent, ability to listen and take direction
- Computer literate and able to easily work with various programs such as Gmail, Word, etc.
- Fluent in English with great verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver's license and comfortable driving in Toronto
- Knowledge of updating and using Wordpress, or willingness to learn with some experience with programming preferred
- Knowledge of Photoshop \& design considered an asset
- Digital marketing knowledge considered an asset
- Familiarity with gardening, plants, and wedding industry considered an asset
